I am a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant. I have been an accountant for over thirty-five years and worked in many different capacities.  

 

Those roles included:

 

• a banker,

• derivative products structurer and marketer,

• professional accountant and accounting professor.

 

In todays investment world many of the concepts that you deal with and the transactions that you get involved in are complicated. In order to properly account for a transaction, you need to understand the business concepts. It's necessary and unavoidable. If you don't understand it, you cannot record it correctly. 

 

You'll see many firms on the internet claiming that they can help. But would you give your family accounting over to the inexperienced? Do you want your books and records manintained by those who lack the experience and knowledge of what makes your investments "tick"? I don't think so.

 

Your books are the heart of your management information system. It's much more than just keeping the information up to date for the taxation authorities-much more. I can help you take the inputs and create useful outputs-reports on a timely basis that help you manage your investments, personal assets and financial life more efficiently, more effectively and more profitably. My practice is restricted to high net worth individuals. 

 

My clients may be anywhere in Canada, Europe, Asia, the United States wherever you are. The only prerequisite is that you assets are greater than US$ 10 million and that you wish to do your financial reporting in English.

 

 

I have over thirty-five years of business experience. I have worked for major accounting firms, major financial institutions, colleges and universities and run my own public accounting practice serving small and medium sized clients. Now I am going to focus my attention on the heart protecting your family net worth-the books-the ledgers-the original sources of the information that you and your accountant use. 

 

It's not just about posting it to the right accounts, it's not just about having balanced books-it's about creating meaningful and useful unformation. Lisa Chang is a gradute of Seneca College with a Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Lisa has many years of bookkeeping experience and is comfortable with QuickBooks and other leading bookkeeping software packages. 

 

In Lisa's ten years plus of bookkeeping experience she has worked with a variety of companies in different industries and in different countries. More recently, she was a senior accountant with an information technology company in Taipei, Taiwan. Her responsibilities included not just the basic bookkeeping functions but general office management. General office management means just that, running the office. More than just a bookkeeper. A resource to her clients in many different areas.
